Two of our players Anthony and Kevin attended the European Riichi Mahjong Championship (ERMC) which was held in ‘s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. This tournament was an invite only tournament of 140 players, and as part of the field we had the last two winners of the World Riichi Championship (WRC) from Japan – Hiroshi Yamai and Masaharu Tokotake. In addition the dates for WRC 2020 have been announced – 26th to 30th August 2020 in Vienna, Austria. We will definitely look towards sending Australian players to this event, so if you were interested in representing our country at this event please get in contact with us.
